Food For Beauty – The Wild Food Cafe Experience

Thursday – 29 August 2013 saw us beauty, fashion and lifestyle bloggers meetup for the fifth London Beauty Bloggers Meetup (LBBM). The venue for this meetup was at the Wild Food Cafe“A leading edge raw-centric eatery in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden created around the art of feeling great.”

We were treated to some lovely soul food at the cafe which included a scrumptious beetroot soup, a raw chocolate and almond mousse to name a few.

Apart from tasting the delicious foods we were treated to, some of us ordered food / nibbles / drinks as well. I decided to try the Vibrant Green Cold-Pressed Organic Juice, which was a concoction of apple, celery, cucumber, spinach, parsley, lemon and ginger. I didn’t think it would taste so good, but it was yummmie!

Attending the LBBM is a great way to meet fellow bloggers and talk about the latest trends in beauty, fashion and anything else that takes our fancy. We also had Joel (owner of Wild Food Cafe) talk to us about wild foods and their benefits for health and beauty – very interesting and informative, to say the least.

If you’re a health fanatic and are out and about in Covent Garden, do check out the Wild Food Cafe at 14, Neal’s Yard. You’ll love the place and the food. I sure did! 🙂
